Carol McIntosh was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University and her Medical Degree from Weill Cornell Medical College. She is currently a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and OHI is so happy to have her as part of the team.

Dr. McIntosh has been a practicing OB/GYN provider for over 25 years, having worked in Virginia, New York City, and on many medical missions to the Eastern Caribbean and West Africa. Between 2018 to 2022, she was the Director of Hospital Services in Grenada working for the Government’s Ministry of Health.

Her favorite part about her job is getting to care for her patients — talking to them, working with them through problems and solutions, and assisting them in maintaining the best health they can have.

Dr. McIntosh’s mantra is “Take Control of Your Health” and she’s here to empower her patients to do just that.

Fun Fact: One day, Dr. McIntosh would love to be a judge on a Food Network competition show and parachute from a plan. For now, she enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time with her friends and family, and taking care of her new chameleon, Coquito.
