Title: Certified Nurse Midwife, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner

    Follow Me:

Arielle grew up in Northern New Jersey, starting her career in medicine as an EMT when she was 16 years old. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in public health and health policy at Rutgers University, focusing on maternal-child health policy and program planning. Arielle missed taking care of people one-on-one, so she went back to school to become a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing in May of 2019 at Yale University’s School of Nursing, where she was a recipient of the National Health Service Corps Scholarship. She practiced as an OB triage nurse with the midwives that trained her in Connecticut until she moved back to NJ to join the OHI family.

Arielle loves caring for people from adolescence through menopause. She is passionate about protecting physiologic birth, promoting evidence-based medicine, and providing attentive, high quality, individualized care for women during labor and birth, as well as across the lifespan. Arielle is trained as a birth doula and has a special interest in fetal positioning techniques, childbirth education and general wellness education in every stage of life. In her free time, Arielle likes doing art projects, hiking, reading anything and everything, and trying to keep her plants alive.
