Sandhya Jagamony, MD is a member of Ocean Health Initiatives’ Family and Internal Medicine team. Originally from Edison, New Jersey, Dr. Jagamony brings a patient-focused approach to care and a strong commitment to supporting the health and well-being of the communities OHI serves. Prior to joining OHI, she practiced at First Docs, where she gained valuable experience providing comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population.

Dr. Jagamony finds the greatest fulfillment in mentoring and empowering her patients to take an active role in their health. She believes that education, encouragement, and trust are essential parts of the provider-patient relationship and enjoys helping patients better understand their conditions and the steps they can take to improve their overall wellness.
Outside of her work at OHI, Dr. Jagamony enjoys creating flower arrangements and exploring native cuisines from different cultures. She also has a strong interest in studying quantum and Biblical teachings.

Fun Fact: During her school years, Dr. Jagamony liked to challenge herself by trying different activities with her eyes closed.
