What were you doing before joining OHI?
I’ve been proud to serve in the medical field since 2005. For over 15 years, I’ve worked as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, caring for some of the most vulnerable patients with skill, heart, and resilience.

As a travel nurse for 13 of those years, I had the privilege of working across the country, supporting both adult and pediatric patients in critical care and PACU settings. Every assignment taught me something new and deepened my passion for high-quality, patient-centered care.

For the past five years, I’ve stepped into leadership as a hospital nurse administrator, bringing frontline experience to the table while focusing on improving systems, supporting staff, and ensuring excellent outcomes.

What makes you happy or excited to do your job?
This journey has been challenging, rewarding, and above all, deeply meaningful. And it’s far from over. I love seeing a positive outcome in patients’ experience, knowing I made a difference in their lives.

What do you like about working at OHI?
I love that OHI is a FQHC and serves the underserved population. Ensuring equal medical and behavioral treatment is available everyone in need.

What do you like doing outside of OHI?
Reading the bible, listening to all kinds of music, dancing, Cooking, gardening, being outdoors exploring nature, going to farms and picking all kinds of fruit. I love yoga, and lifting weights.

My parents are my biggest inspirations in life and have grounded me to who I am today. With seven siblings and 18 amazing nieces and nephews, there’s never a dull moment. #18, my nephew Titus, was born today July 28th, 2025! Each one brings a spark of their own, funny, bold, creative, kind. They constantly remind me of the power of connection and togetherness. Spending time with my big, beautiful family isn’t just a joy—it’s what grounds me and fuels everything I do. Life’s most memorable moments are the ones we share with those we love.

What makes you happy or excited to do your job?
Mental health has become my passion. I’m committed to being present for individuals in their most vulnerable moments, offering support, compassion, and care when it’s needed most. With a foundation built on years of critical care nursing and patient advocacy, I look forward to making a more profound impact in the lives of those navigating emotional and mental health challenges. Everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.
